Hello all! Just curious about the correct fender bolt finish for my 68' RS. Specifically, I'm referring to the bolts that hold the front fenders to the top of the radiator support. Are these supposed to be black phosphate or painted to match the body color? Thanks to anyone with advise!

None of the bolts are body color.

Black phosphate is the correct plating. I also bead blast the bolts before plating. Also spray some type of oil on them before installing them to prevent rust . Put alittle strip caulk on the washer to prevent peeling the paint when tighting. John
