Mentioned in this thread by Jon Mello, January 22nd. 2012, reply #143 Here's another photo of what I think is the ex Dick Lang

Camaro in Sweden, looks like it's being loaded into the back of a dump truck ! Maybe it's some sort of weigh scale ?

Fair to assume it was a 67 upgraded to 68 specs?

Thanks for posting those, Mike.  Interesting car.  I don't believe those are of the Dick Lang Camaro.  This car has vent windows in the doors and Lang's car began life as a '68 without the vent windows.

Hi Jon, thanks for your reply,  in reply #360 I did say " what I think is the Lang car" what threw me off was the vent windows and

'68 side markers, are those factory ? or something added due to regs in Sweden ?

MO also mentions this in reply #361

Something I didn't pick up on at first is that the car has the 68 Camaro fender emblem. Maybe the doors were swapped out in favor of the 67 wing windows?

More likely it is a '67 car that somebody tried to update looks-wise by adding the side marker lights and '68 style grille.

Jon, or any else know this one ? '67 "Hugger Camaro" looks like Kent, Washington ?  in period judging by the full size '67 Chevy

tow car and second '67 Chevy on the right. I looked at the results for the '67 Kent Trans-Am and didn't see that car, might have

 missed it ?

Looks like it's a Canada car. Hey Mike did you know the driver his name is Bob Stevens?

Oldtimer, thanks for your reply and links re: The Stevens Camaro.

VINCEZ28, I did not know personally Bob Stevens, but knew about him, I believe he had a link with Robert Barg (also Canadian)

who raced the X Mo Carter '67 Camaro and the '69 Camaro, also X Carter. He was successful with the "Hugger Camaro"  '67

winning the Canadian Touring Car Championship in '68. I wonder if that car is still around ? Jon ? ?

Is Robert Barg still with us ?  he hasn't posted for some time, and an e-mail went unanswered.

Here's a link to some of  Steven's career.

Once again it bit of thread drift  ::)  not original T/A cars but these are cars raced in Sweden.

Hans Radefalk in the #27, '68 model, and Bo Kasby in the '67, photo 1968 Sweden.

And like in one of my posts from Europe just above # 362, , if indeed it is a '68 has vent windows, side markers and '68 grill.

Scan l-r for whole image
