Wiring diagram for 67 8-track player, early design.
« on: February 09, 2011, 03:18:47 PM »
I am looking to hook up my 8-track player the correct way. It is a late January built Camaro with a front console mount.  Also, is there a swith that is required to shift between radio and tape?  Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm not very familiar with the 8 track setups but there was a recent discussion on the TC site:

You should also search both sites.  I seem to recall other discussions about the 67 factory versus dealer installed systems.

Also I saw this $$$ underdash switch recently on ebay, not sure if it's the correct part #:

I believe the 67 assembly instruction manual (AIM) would also help you out on this.

Thanks for the info.  The AIM was a big help.
