POP mistakes
« on: October 24, 2010, 11:36:18 PM »
I think I have Camaro Fever.................... again! ( I'm hot, don't sleep well, grease under the nails)
Have a Norwood X-55 with an automatic. My protect-o-plate says for rear axle, BV0501G.That reads to me as a 4.10 posi. But all I've seen is 4.10's as an option in 4-speed cars only.Original owner (uncle) says he didn't order any options but base SS and 8-track( that's all he could afford)so any special option is out.I haven't seen the actual stamp (yet), but I know I've smoked that one-legger before, and there is no limited slip decale in the trunk( original spare though) and it is a 12-bolt. Is this a common error? What would be the default ratio for a SS-350 with an automatic? Thanks

BL - 3.07. Someone wrote it fast and the clerk thought the BL was BV.
