I believe he is refering to the big ugly red CAUTION sticker which came on Fords not Chevrolets. boston14

By all means I was not criticizing your car. I think it's beautiful and your very lucky to have found it. As much research that you've done I'm surprised that was not pointed out to you before....

There are no stickers on the radiator shroud of a Camaro, only the tune up spec sticker that goes on the core support, unless the car had A/C and then it went on the front edge of the radiator shroud.

Thank you Mark. The sticker has been pulled Was the tune up spec sticker (info) standard for each application? Are there any good repro's? Most of the stuff I get is at Rick's...do you have a preference? Also, would you happen to have a pic of an original TUS applied to a '69? Thanks

I have had two unrestored AC equiped cars, one had the decal in the center of the shroud and the other was on the side. I probably depended on who was working the line at the time and what they thought looked best?

You mentioned you had the cars. If you do not have the cars anymore would you happen to have pics of their engine bay? If so can you please send them to me, either here or to my email address?
Actually, just saying center or side is probally good enough. These stickers weren't applied by robots.
Thanks J

For the tune up spec sticker, the best thing to do is follow what the 69 AIM says.... A little WD40 followed by some rubbing compound might get some of that old glue out from the CAUTION sticker. I'd try this in an unnoticable place first. There is a sticker remover on the market, but I've never tried it.

Thanks Phillip. I'll try your advise for the caution sticker.
I have the '69 Assembly Manual and in B1 "Labels & Stickers", no reference is made with regards to a Tune Up Spec sticker. Am I looking in the wrong place? I'm assuming this is AIM...

It's on that sheet. It's item #3 in view "A", to be positioned 3.5" to the left of centerline on top of the radiator support. Although not shown on that sheet, if the car had A/C and the rubber hood seal across the top of the radiator support, it had to be placed elsewhere (on the shroud).
