67 6cyl Car
« on: April 29, 2010, 08:05:44 PM »
Don't think you guys care, but I found a nice 6cyl car for a project.  123377L162492.  Nothing special, radio delete Ermine white car.  But, in any event she is still alive and kicking around.

Cool how about some pics? Mine is a 6banger vert originally and I must admit it is tempting to put it back stock because seems like you see more and more modified Camaro's very few 6 cylinder ones to boot.

My first Camaro was a '69 Hugger Orange  250 6 Cyclinder with a 4 speed with a white interior.  Sold it in 1982 to go to college.  The car drove great.  Unfortunately, sometime in the late 1980's the 6 got removed and V8 dropped in.

Enjoy the one you bought!   Will you be keeping the 6 in it, or?

No sorry guys its not going to stay original.  I bought it because I wanted to build a good driver with modern brakes, tranny and such.  I just don't have the heart to cut up a really rare car.  I've done a lot of things that the "real" Camaro guys would be upset over, but its a car I've been building in my head since I was a kid.  I wanted a BB and a Z and ya just can't have that.  So, I've been building my BB car with stripes.  In the end its just a pretty car, no more.  I just wanted you guys to know I saved one.  Many will say I killed one, but its a very fun car that will be enjoyed.  BB, 6 piston brakes, T56, good times.

Glad the site is back up and running I really enjoy reading about all the numbers and the crazy finds and the stuff folks go through with an original car.
