Can anybody please help with what is the correct oil filter part number for a early 67 250 engine. Should it be a PF-25. Some of the parts catalogues show a PF25 but else where On this forum I'sure I read that a PF25 didn't start until 1969?

There seems to be a couple of different colours for these filters. Should it be Blue or White

Which one of the two listings below would be correct.

You need the PF-29 filter.

68 AIM  6 B2 shows #6437955. The 67 AIM I have does not show 6 B2. Try someone with a 67 parts book to (maybe) get the correct part number.

National Parts Depot shows a PF-25/PF454 and I believe this to be the correct filter for a 67 250cu L6.  At least that's what I'm banking on and using.

You got me wondering about the PF29 versus the PF25.  Since my AIM is missing the part numbers for the filter, I looked in some of the literature that I received from the GM Customer Assistance Center.  Although the part numbers are not listed it states that the L6 engine had a "full flow, throw away canister" versus the V8 which had a "full flow, replaceable element".  The originals of those were white with blue lettering.  The GM part number for those was 19187300.  They were white with the red AC logo.
