I picked a pair up probably 15 years ago in a junkyard. They are special bolts. The head markings are RBW with 3 concentric circles. The head has a built in washer that slopes down off the hex head. There are also marks of each of the 6 hex head flat spots that go toward the edge of the washer. And it has teeth on the bottom side to grip into the coil bracket. The threaded portion is 0.5" long. Does this make sense? This is for a 68. Anyone else have these on their original 68?

I don't know for sure. I took these bolts off 68 cars that were not Camaros years ago.

Both '68 and '69 used the same coil bracket bolt (3848408), according to the A.I.M.

Do you have an idea what the head marking is? Thanks.

Gary, I'm sure there were many different suppliers for these bolts.  For example, the original coil bracket mounting bolts on my '68 Z/28 have a "T" that bisects the head of the bolt.  I believe this "T" identifies the bolt grade, in this case grade 5.  On the other half of the bolt head is an anchor!
