What date of Powerglide would I need?
« on: March 06, 2010, 12:26:10 AM »
I am in the process of looking for a powerglide, so what date would I need for my 67 350 SS/RS?  My goal is to make it a numbers matching if that is possible.

What number/s would I need to match off of?  Cowl, POP, Body, engine, etc???

Thanks in advance.

If the original trans is gone, it is no longer numbers matching. You could get a "correct" trans, date coded  not to long before the car was built, but only the original drive train is numbers matching.

How far before the trim tag date would be acceptable? Mines an 04D.
