and here's a better photo of what I have so far. The knobs are modern aluminum knobs that closely resemble the originals and the lamp is a vintage panel lamp that is close but is too tall and just plain green. My plate is just a paper inkjet print of the template that I'm making in Pshop. I did some work with your photo in Photoshop and found that my plate is a little big at 3 3/8" square but I was shooting in the dark up until I got your photo. After scaling your photo I believe that the original is 3" square. Back to the drawing board.
Can anyone out there tell me what material the original plate is made from? aluminum? or stainless? plated tin?
