12A X22 Cowl Tag on Ebay
« on: February 17, 2010, 01:27:54 AM »
I assume this tag is not original. I still can't tell the difference based on the font, but the website says 12B was the start of X codes. If anyone has an explaination I would be interested. Either way someone tracking this would be good for if/when it shows up attached to another Camaro.

Lets see a black on black big block SS with a cowl tag that should not have an X code on it.  Yeah, its a fake.

When did the X codes exactly start?  Does anyone know for absolutely sure?  I think this might be a real tag towards the end of the 12A week and could be one of the first X tags...  l ;)

I would think for a starting bid of 400 there could at least be a clear photo of the tag. Since 12a should not have an x code, could somebody have added just the x code to a real tag ?
