The Dixie Twister is Here in Kitsap Co Washington, a Local Businessman bought it recently via Large Auction, It is in the process of getting a restoration L78 motor put back in, I saw the motor and heads at a local wrench shop here in Bremerton.

Sorry a typo on the Dixie Twister,  it’s an original L-78, 4P.

Regarding SS emblems: A bb was installed in the Z-28 at some point hence SS emblem

The Dixie Twister was not a 4P.  Ignore the M22 grease pencil as someone got carried away and wasn't knowledgeable.

To Jmth52, if you are answering what a L79 is, it is not a L78 with aluminum heads, lol, think that is an L89! Not sure if there was L89’s in 67’ but for sure 68’/69’s. A L79 is high horsepower 327 cubic inch small block. Mostly Nova’s.

Had L89 in Corvette, and I have a pair of April '67 dated alum heads.  Running C/SS back then they had a solid lifter 396 motor planted in the car.
