Installing a power brake booster
« on: January 30, 2010, 12:12:48 AM »
I have a 67 Camaro with manual brakes and was wondering if there is any benefit to installing a power brake booster only to improve braking performance? or wait until I can do it right and install power disc front brakes?

Also, is installing power front disc brakes something a layman could do in their garage without buying a load of special tools?  any websites detailing the process?

Thanks

Yes, you'll notice a difference with the PDB. Yes you can do it and installation issues can be resolved using the informed members here. I prefer the origional looking set ups and not the kits with the intergal proportioning/hold off valve(combination valve).
