Unless you had a Canadian car with the smog deleted. :-)

'69 Canadian cars were equipped exactly the same as domestic cars - they had the same smog system as U.S.-delivered cars. The KD1 "Less Air Injection" option only applied to cars delivered to some overseas markets.

68 Canadian cars could come with KD1. It doesn't show on all the 68 Canadian paperwork though. I'm not sure if was just a paperwork issue or if some 68 cars were delivered with AIR.

A Friend has a survivor 68 L78 with the KD1 "less air injection" and was not a overseas car. I have no experience with the 69 Canadian cars. I probably should have kept my comments to only 69's since that is the subject.

I assume it's a Canadian car?

Same fake invoice style that I've seen on several cars this past year.  That's a problem.

Have seen a couple of survivor SS396 Canadian Camaros with AIR.

I have seen Canadian 68's without smog, but no 69's.

I think everyone is on the same page.
Canadian 68's got KD1, Canadian 69's were the same as US spec cars.

I am confused by the Canadian documentation. I know of two 68 L78 cars, built at the same time. One has KD1 on the docs, one doesn't. ???
