If you are referring to a cam that is exactly equivalent to the old 30/30......I bought the Comp Cams kit #CL12-107-3.  This is a kit that includes the cam and lifters.  It has been highly recommended in the past.

That's what we use in all the 302's that we do.  And we make great power out of them.  Last one did 370 HP on the dyno.

Thanks Guys....Another question, keeping with origional 302 specs what type of valve springs and rockers should I use? 3917291 heads with 2.02's. BTW the ralley green 68 Z you have on your home page is exactly the same as mine except I have the Z/28 emblem on the front fenders and no wheel well trim.

Thanks again
Pete

Use the Manley #43140 long slot rockers.  The are very tough too.  I have them on one of my race engines.  Good to 8400 rpm

I use a couple of different springs that I use and I like a couple that the major cam companies offer.  Use stock diameter!
