Engine pad is stamped: 18N47515?  V0711MO  (? = possibly 0)
Block casting number: 3914678
Block casting date: G 6 8

Block was purchased by my shop partner for his 68 Z (not its original engine), manafuxing revealed a main web crack. The block is repairable. Below is a photo of the stamp:

Usually they put blocks in a forge and then weld with nickel rod.

How are they going to repair this one?

No near term plans to repair the block.  It will be shelved in hopes of hearing from the owner of the original, matching chassis 68 Z.
