Mystery Canister
« on: June 22, 2009, 02:50:31 PM »
Anyone know what this is?
It is located on the drivers side, inner fender, next to the brake booster.

Is it a vacuum reservoir?

I would like to reference the AIM but am not sure what system it is used for. It is currently not hooked up. I flipped through it and must have missed it.

I am in the process of getting everything back to stock.

Thanks again to all.

John -

That's the vacuum tank for the A/C system.  You'll find it's location in the AIM under UPC C60.

Awesome, Thanks Paul. I am in the process of reinstalling the AC and this had no lines run to it during removal.

No problem John.  If the '69 AIM is laid out the same as the '68 AIM, the tank's location is on sheet E2 under UPC C60.  Have fun!
