Rick V:
In 1969 I purchased a 1968 Z28 Camaro from Cochran and Celli Chevrolet in Oakland California. It was white with black strips. I had the factory headers, a muncie M22 transmission gauge package and a 140 MPH Speedometer. Every site I go to says that Z28 camaros did not have a 140 MPH speedo. I have several pictures of the car buried in my photo albums but i am not sure I ever took a pic of the speed.
This was many years ago, but I remember the speed because I took to car to Nevada which had no speed limits at the time and buried the speed and ta ch. I remember looking down at the speed and seeing the needle pass 140MPH. The Car also had 15" wheels with E70 Polyglass tires. Can Anyone tell me why I can't find any info that this car existed?
