Would love to find out if any viewer has any knowledge on my 1969 X77D80 Cortez Silver Camaro, Vin N682612??? I was told it was bought in a town in Indiana back around 1999 from someone that drag raced it. It was sold off the internet and then trailered it back to Maryland. I bought it in 2005 and have all the info I can get from the 2 owners that had it before me.

It appears to be a true X77D80 (from feedback on my previous trim tag posts) but does not have the original engine. Maybe it's out there somewhere??? The name "Steve Satre" was written on the drive shaft. Does anybody know anything about the car?

I was told, when it was bought back in 1998 or 1999, it had a large tach on the dash and racing seats in it. The original seats had been removed but came with the car. It had subframe connectors, traction bars, racing spool with 4:10 gears, strange axles, msd ignition, aftermarket chrome valve covers, blue wires, to name a few. It also had new rear quarters on it. ????
