Nope, custom interior only. X77 has nothing to do with a trunk mat.

Good question. Could someone please tell me if my X77 Z/28 w/ standard black interior should have hood insulation? Does have cowl induction, if that makes a difference? Thank you.

The only way an X77 with a standard interior would have hood insulation would be if it had the ZL2 hood, which included the hood pad regardless of its application. Otherwise, only Z87 deluxe interior cars had a hood pad.

My 1969 z/28 camaro, build date of 1OD, with a flat hood. Had hood insulation as well as
a trunk mat. I know that for a fact because when I bought the vehicle over 20 years ago.
I removed the insulation for the hood because it was tearing and I threw out the trunk
mat because it was also torn. Does that mean my 69 was ordered with the z87 deluxe
interior. I also have the front endura front bumper.

Thanks
Alan

Could you get a Z-28 with a flat hood in 1969?  Dave

Approximately 90% came with a flat hood. The cowl hood was not ordered with many cars.

The only way a '69 flat-hood car would have come from the factory with a hood pad and a trunk mat is if it originally had the Z87 deluxe interior.

John Z,

What does the Z87 deluxe interior consist of? The interior of my car has standard door panels, 7000 rpm tach, red lined
at 6000, floor gauges with console, shoulder strap seat belts for the front passengers, AM Radio, and clock in the instrument
panel.

Thanks again

Z87 would add woodgrain trim to radio and rt side dash panel, a rt side dash panel grab strap, pedal bright trim, glove compt. light, trunk mat, hood insulation, and I'm not sure but I think the woodgrain steering wheel.  I think there are a couple of other things I'm not remembering.  I have the woodgrain dash and radio stuff along with the grab strap in the attic in a box.  Haven't decided if I like it yet or not.  Dave

My vehicle did not come with a grab strap on the right side of the dash, nor are their any holes for it.

Z87 also included the deluxe seats (Comfortweave vinyl or Houndstooth fabric), and deluxe door and quarter trim panels. A previous owner must have added the hood pad and trunk mat.
