When did delco remy add the R  on the patent pending on top of the cap? What is correct for a 12d 1968z. Thanks John

Not sure when it was changed but my logic for thinking is coincided with the change to resistor type plugs hence the R on the cap.  I know the cap has nothing to do with the resistor but again, just my logic!  My 68 SS 396 12D calls for 43N plugs (non-resistor) so I have the no R cap.  Hope that helps.
