Greetings.

There are three holes in the drivers side of the '68 frame for mounting the bracket that holds the clutch cross shaft ( Z Bar, bellcrank, lever, whatever you like to call it).

These holes appear to be threaded, tapped for bolts.

Anyone know what size (diameter) bolt and weather they are coarse or fine thread?

Thanks...!

5/16" - 18 x 1/2" is the size of the original ones.

Also, the original ones on my '68...
a)  Are grade 5
b)  Have an "EL" marking in the center of the bolt head.
c)  Have an encapsulated lock washer on them.

Also, per the '68 AIM the part number is 9420603 and their torque spec is 120-180 lbs in.     :)
