OK, I have but one thing left to do to my original harness  (1969) to make it right.  One of the members here graciously sent me an old connector and terminal for my temp sensor (no gauges).  I took it apart so I could attach it to my green wire with the sheathing.
When i put the new green wire it, I made it just a little too long.  Now, I need to know the length of that wire from where it leaves the main harness to the terminal at the temp switch.

Any help appreciated.

Got my answer.  First, many thanks to 68Zproject for the terminal and connector.
