Old forum available
« on: October 22, 2005, 11:54:05 AM »
I'm guessing that everyone missed something I just snuck in last night.

Look above the message area at the button menu and you'll see a new button "Old Forum"

The old forum is read-only, you can not post.  At this time it's still requiring you to log in using your old login info.  That will soon be changing.

I discovered it a couple of days ago that my old bookmark still takes me to search archives.   I was looking for info to convert to an HEI.     BTW, what plug and gap would one reccomend with the HEI?    Thanks   J.R.

I've re-adjusted the old forum parameters, removed the access list requirement (now it should be fully open - no login required), and changed the format from archive (didn't like the format) to what is essentially read-only (removes the ability to add new threads or reply to old ones).

Please let me know if all can now read it...

Thanks,

Rich

The navigation boxes from the main CRG site used to appear at the top of the index pages for easy access to data, but they're gone now - they disappeared about the same time that the "Simple Machines Forum" logo appeared; can they be brought back?  ???

You can still link to the old forum through the "NEWS BOX" in the upper right hand corner.....under the simple machines forum logo.  The button was nice.

I'm trying to get in the old forum. I clicked the newsbox and went to doug's site but nothing seems to work. What am I doing wrong?

The link is still there in the big 'News' box on the main forum page.

Click on Search, then enter what you want to search.

There's no recent posts, so there's nothing to display when you first enter the old forum. You have to ask it to show you something.

I have been trying it from time to time since June.  It still does not appear to work right.
