were rear bumper bolts splatter painted?
« on: June 24, 2008, 01:01:55 PM »
i know this has been gone over before, but i searched the old threads and didnt come up with anything. Johnz would probably know best,on a 67 camaro,  were the rear bumpers installed before or after the trunk was splatter painted? did the bolts have splatter paint on them.
thanks

The spatter paint was done in the Paint Shop, long before any trim or hardware was installed later in the Trim Shop; the bumper bolts would NOT have any paint on them.
