Has anyone ever heard of a 1966 Panther? a friend of mine was at this guys house and under a tarp in his carport looked like a 67 camaro, but when he uncovered it, the factory emblems in the same style of writing as camero say Panther! So he ask the guy what was it? The car had a factory 4-speed, 6 cylinder with a large metal strap on top of the motor, 4 piston disc brakes, hidden headlights that the guy said were not like anything produced, not how they looked but how they were activated, tick tock tach, some kind of mag spinner wheels on it. The guy who owened it claimed it was a 1966 panther and that was his retirement.the car needs a total resto, and he claimed they made 18 of these. Could this be a car used on gm proving grounds or a motorama car to promote the camaro or early model that gm never destroyed? oh also it had astro ventilation without ac!
