« on: May 10, 2008, 01:05:52 AM »

I bought some "NOS" bumpers and returned them. They were too thin. The repros are thick enough to work properly. The ones shown look like the '70 model or something else. They will fit the holes, but that is all they do. For '70 the bumpers were turned 90 degrees to the '69 application.

Gary your right.  I uncovered  my 70 and opened the door ( which is what I should have done earlier) and the bumpers on ebay are the same  size as the ones on that car. Dont know if they are NOS or not but the ones on ebay are probably 70 and up door bumpers.

The ones pictured are not correct for 69. The 69 rubber bumpers are thicker as stated above.
