looking for an #1111489 distributor

Like the title says, I am in need of the above distributor.  Dated Prior to January 15th 1969 please.  Any leads welcome...thanks

that's pretty early for me..the motor is built January 17, 1969...I don't know if it will fly (what's the point in getting a correctly coded distributor only to have the dates be in error - ya know?)  I will keep you in mind.

I have a 489 dated about the same as James'. Came out of a 12C car. :)

Well that sort answers the question I just posed about dating in a new thread. :o

I had a line on a Nov 30th dated one but it did not pan out...I have access to an October 24th dated one...based on what you just said that would seem fine.

Most were pretty close, but it wasn't a First In, First Out supply system, with mine and James' as examples. ;)

I went ahead and picked up the Oct 24th one after the Nov 30th fell through...now someone has offered me a nov 11th...when it rains it pours

I have an Aug 29th one in my 11B Van Nuys.  Although its a 488 distibutor

Sure I have any date you need. 

Not really sure what they are worth anymore.  $200 seems too high.

The ones dated for a pace car will bring $200 but the other dates are not near as in demand...

I collected about 40 or so of these 489's way back.
Still have a few hundred distributors in my collection.

I had the wife come and help me log in all the distributors at my shop today -  looks like we are going out to dinner tonight in return :)

Found quite a few 1111489's -- Date ranges   --- 9B 9C 9D 8J 9J 8G 8H
Also found a BUNCH of 1111481's, 1111483's and 1111487's
Shipping out the 9E16 to Chris on Tuesday.
