AM radio light
« on: April 20, 2008, 12:02:32 AM »
Some how my light bulb connector became disconnected from the radio housing. I can not figure out which hole it plugs in to. Nothing gives me light. The bulb is good. Can anyone give me the right hole? Top, bottom end? :-[

Off the top of my head, it went in the passenger side at an angle off of the front plate.  That's going back a few years though.

Turns out it is not the radio light. It is a single wire connector with prongs that connect into a metal housing to ground. Anyone have an idea?

I realized the radio light is plugged into the top of the radio. Now I have this connector that is single wire and the type that locks into a metal hole with prongs for grounding. It is not the heater control light. That is 2 wire like the speedo light. This is for a 1969 model.

Heater control light?
that's what I would have guessed - mine falls out and hangs above the console all the time

No, it turned out to be an after-market light for a radio. Took it of and repaired the wiring.
