I don't think that looks like it would fit the Camaro bumper.

You're right, that jack is for a Nova.     :)

That picture is exactly the same as my square jack from my 02E Los Z28. No date at all and the rivet head has a bit of a round head.

Forgot to mention that the jack post has stops at each end so the mechabism cannot come off the post

I was into the truck of my 68 Z28 from LOS yesterday because I had a question about my jack from a member from this site. The jack mast is square and is  32.5 inches long and the mast is 1.125 inches square. I took a magnifying glass and found no date on the jack part even on the rivet but I found a stamp on the top of the square mast and it was a 8  B. I have no idea if this stands for February of 1968 or nothing at all. The car though is a 02E car. ??? ???

Looking for a Walker Jack for a 1968 Camaro built at Van Nuys. According to the Legends Restoration guides Universal also provided Jacks but only on early production cars. My car is built April 13 1968 so a date of Feb-Mar would be ideal.

In looking through the legends Judging guide I am posting a picture of a Walker Jack Base. Note it’s a square shaft type base.
Based on the info I gathered there were several manufactures of Jacks, Walker, Universal and Ryerson Hayes (RH).
RH jacks were common in Norwood built cars and Walker were used in LOS or Van Nuys built cars with RH used in early 1968 production.

Would like some help here to see if I am on target with the hunt.

Anyone with a Jan-June built 68 Camaro, please identify what style of Jack you have if you know it’s original. Let me know your Plant and build date too if possible.
