What Engine?
« on: January 24, 2008, 11:32:49 PM »
What engine to go with…that is the question? Since the numbers don’t match should I change from a 350. I am the guy who purchased the 67 SS for a ton of dough. I figure you guys could have some strong opinions on this. Should I stick with the 350 or look for a 396, 427…so on. What would be your top couple of choices and why? I am replacing the front suspension, exhaust etc. is there anything else I need to be concerned with if I switch to a big block? The car has factory A/C and I would imagine that it is the same set up for either engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated! It wont let me attach a picture but i will create a link soon, so you guys can make fun of me.
Thanks for the help

Go with what you feel best with. Just remember as you stated, your can is non-matching, always present it that way.

I've always loved the sound of a BIGBLOCK
