 Where there any other suppliers for Red Line tires in 69 besides Goodyear ?  :-\

If I remember correctly Uniroyal made a redline. I believe it was the Tiger Paw.

Dave is right.  They were optional on the 69 Buick GS.

These red line Tiger Paws came on my 06A 68 too.  If I remember right I got about 20-25K miles out of them.

That was pretty good mileage for a set of tires back then.  The way I used to drive tires were not around very long.

I could check my records.  I did put them through a run or two  ;) :D  but as I recall they did hold up fairly well.  I recall my dad telling me that I  would be responsible for buying any new ones........that provided some motivation for taking care of them.  ;D

Wasn't that the universal rule? If you leave the rubber on the street, then you buy it...
And nylon tires ride like a rock in the winter --like John said until you ride on them and get them warm...
