For the last year I have been restoring a 1967 rs. I have finally gotten around to installing a stereo and need info on replacing the rear package tray to install new speakers. I have purchased a new tray from Classic Industries but for the life of me can't figure out how to remove the old one? How do I remove back of the seat? I thought that the seat back would just lift out, but it won't budge?? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. THANKS

You need to remove the bottom seat cushion first.  When you have this done you'll see bolts that hold the seat back on.

Like Kris said, remove the bottom cusion first, but it's tricky.  There are two hooks that hold the bottom front edge in place.   One at each seating position.   Get in the back facing the trunk and push real hard on the bottom part of the seat cushion on one side then the other (Pushing back towards the trunk).  It pops up and out, and from there you'll see how the rest comes apart.   It helps if you pull the front seats up as far as they will go to give you more room.  It's even easier if you remove the front seats, then you can get in there and kick the bottom cusion with your knee.

Hope this helps.  Good luck.
