Missing Trimtag
« on: December 20, 2007, 07:51:30 PM »
Hi all,

i wrote about a missing VIN-tag some time ago, it was of coruse not the VIN tag which is missing, but my Trim tag.

My question really only was: Where do a get a copy of my missing Trimtag, if possibel at all?
I really have a problem decoding my car (as i would like to get it back to original, or as close as)..

Best regards
Jesper, Denmark

Jasper,

There are folks who will create a tag for you, but there is no easy way to decode your car without one. An exception would be if your car was originally sold in Canada. There are records for those cars available direct from GM Canada, all they need is your VIN number. If your car was not originally sold in Canada, the only way to decode the car is research, and ask questions on this site. Digital photos will be very helpful.

Welcome and enjoy,

Tom
