Downloadable catalogs?
« on: November 21, 2007, 06:31:33 PM »
I do a lot of traveling and I like the fact that some vendors have a downloadble catalog.   I got NPD and Classics catalogs downloaded to my laptop but having trouble with Ricks and Year One.  Does anybody know if they have a Downloadable catalog?  I don't want to carry around these "phonebooks" to check prices.

thanks-

Brandan

Ricks used to have one, but now it seems like they don't --or at least I can't find it on their website.  Don't know if that got lost with new ownership or not.

Whoops, should have mentioned Classic Muscle:  http://www.oldmusclecars.com/

That's their home page.  Click on the Camaro link.  Click on Order Parts.  Scroll down that page and you will find where you can download the whole catalog or just sections.  Their catalog is not very fancy, but it is a great compariason price and they are good to work with.  You can get a picture by typing in their part number in the search on the order page.  (Of course, you have to be online to do that.)

I'm lucky.  I've got Classic Muscle about 50 miles to the north and an NPD about 50 miles south.  But to tell the truth, if they don't have what I want in stock, I can get it just as fast from the west coast.  But the big ticket items I go to Classic Muscle, good prices and when I pick up no shipping.
