1969 Z/28 4 leaf rear spring rebuild questions
« on: November 28, 2023, 01:56:37 AM »
Hello all, I removed the leaf springs from my Camaro to replace the front bushings. While they are out, I laid them side-by-side and I see the number 2 spring is about a half inch longer than the number 2 spring on the other pack.  Is there a left and a right I should have made note of?
Also, one of the plastic sliders that sits in the pocket between the springs was out of place and looks like it needs to be replaced. I haven’t found a source for these, maybe because I don’t know exactly what they’re called? Does anyone know where I can get one?
Thank you.

Thanks all. No luck at Eaton, and I didn’t need a full kit like Heartbeat sells. I have a block of black Delrin, so I machined up the two needed insulators/isolators/sliders, and I am good to go.
