It looks like the same tag just cleaned the stamping.  I did something similar when I was a teenager on my old 69.  This car still has a repo (same) tag.  Also looks like they filled the rivet holes.

Am I the only one who thinks those are two different tags?

No, you're right. They're two different tags. Observe the 01A below

Another comparison.  I'm sticking to my previous statement that they look the same to me.  I'm almost willing to be the tag was hit with some type of abrasive.

I agree it has been hit with an abrasive.   No doubt about it.
The 6 looks different.
The first 1 in 10 10 looks different in relation to the 3 above it.
The 4 in the body number looks different in relation to the B in BDY.

Could just be a different camera or different camera angle.

I still say it is two different tags.  So, on that we have to agree to disagree.   What is sad is the the seller knows it has a swapped tag.   The car is being misrepresented as being genuine.

Yes agree  and the "9" is also clearly different.  Look at the 8pm position of the one 9, the flat spot.

haha what a mess.  body "BY" fisher.   The bottom of the Y align in different areas of the N below it on both.   I really hate that this many camaros are faked.
The numbers under BODY aren't even close in one to the next.

In my novice opinion, there's way too many differences in the letters and numbers for those two to be the same tag.
