Vintage O2 Engine analyzer parts or repairs
« on: October 19, 2022, 05:03:44 PM »
Looking recommendations for parts or someone who can repair a vintage exhaust gas analyzer.
The O2 sensor in the sensing unit box is bad.
Peerless Part # HA 8210 A, but this unit is also used with the Stewart Warner, Sears Penske and some Sun Analyzers.
Meter unit is good.

Hoping there's another O2 sensor that can be used with this meter.

Thank in Advance,
Walt

Walt, it really doesn't matter if you post your query in the general or the garage talk sections, but I'll leave this one alone and delete your other thread.

However, I have a feeling that's going to be VERY difficult to find. Here's a COMPLETE EGA-6 but it was from 9 years ago so who knows. It's probably been sold or the seller's no longer there, but you never know. I found a site for a Weiand WCP-FP-7133 timing cover that was older than that one and he still had it so you might get lucky like I did!

Walt
I have a Penske battery style unit that I tried a couple of times to calibrate and use, seem to remember it was very inaccurate.
Could not find replacement parts for the tailpipe sensor.
Gave up on the idea and welded bungs on both sides running a dual wideband. Super accurate and easy to tune with.
