“Correct 1967 spoiler” is an oxymoron.

If you want a front or rear spoiler for your 67', look for 68' spoilers. They are available from most Camaro parts suppliers and they will fit correctly. As stated, spoilers were not a factory option for model year 1967.

I do too, but they just don't belong on non race car 67 Camaro's in my opinion. That's a purist opinion. To each their own though.

Hi guys,
Does anyone know a supplier that carries the correct 1967 front spoiler?

Victor, just be careful as many list the front spoiler as 68/69 but the 68 was different and was fastened by screws while the 69 had a different spoiler attached with three support rods. Just depends on what style/look you want on your Camaro. There are a slew of 67 Camaro's with rear spoilers and they are not technically correct either so do what you want and enjoy that 67. Look at post #1252 for screw locations from the factory on 68 spoilers.

[...] look for 68' spoilers. [...]
I don't know what you'll do with a spoiler that long, but 68 feet is a massive accessory that won't fit on any of these cars.

Most in this tread aren't saying that spoilers don't look good.  We're only saying that they're not correct.  Perhaps pedantic, but that was the question that was asked.  I think rear spoilers look good on all 67 Camaros.  I think the front spoiler only looks good on either RS or custom/modified Camaros.  Stock Camaros with a front spoiler just look a bit off to my eye ... but just one person's opinion.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the responses. I am aware of the lack of a factory spoiler in 1967 thus not called "original or factory". However simply looking at the Trans-Am thread, there are 1967 pictures of some of the Camaro's that do have a short front spoiler installed, a few of them seem be of the same design. The CAR SHOP offers a "correct" (FWIW) front spoiler that looks quite similar to the 1967 pictures (#67-13001) but have been backordered for quite some time. Some company was producing these. I was simply wondering if anyone had knowledge of the manufacture or another supplier that carried these.
BTW I would never put a large '68 spoiler on a 67, almost as bad as a rear spoilers that have such a large gap you can fit fingers between the bottom of the spoiler and the quarter panel
( I see these on many "original" cars) or a cowl hood on anything other than a '69.

Victor,

There is no "correct" front spoiler for 1967 Camaro's. The ones you see in early vintage Trans Am pictures or threads are custom made by the race team or a connected fab shop. In subsequent years factory available hardware was used.
