1969 Nova, Chevelle, Camaro, Acadian 307/200 assembled on Thursday, January 23rd, 1969.

Ignoring the number, it's perfectly functional; all of those distributors are the same except for minor detail changes in the autocam, weights, springs, and vac advance unit - those are the internal components that determine the part number of the assembly. You can put it on a Sun machine and make any part number you want out of it in terms of function.

 Thanks John. You are right about it being functional. It was being used in a 396 at one time before it went into the parts bin. Would have been nice to have something a bit more rare that may have had some value. How many Camaros' were made with 307 engines?

According to:  http://www.camaros.org/pdf/options-rpo23feb00.pdf

68,487 out of 243,285 total Camaros produced in 1969 or roughly 28% of all Camaros produced had the 307.  And remember, the 307 didn't go into Camaro production as the base V8 until 1 Jan 1969.  In addition to the 307, and addtional 44,746 Camaros (18% of the total production) had the 327 as the base V8 prior to 307 introduction.
