What size and finish are the screws #9 (3858195) for the firewall circuit breaker?

Thanks for the reply.
I wonder why the pilot hole of .125 is specified in AIM for a #8-18 when .136 is now specified?
Is AMK # B-12048 now the accepted replacement for 3858195 as AMK does not offer a direct part # replacement?

Here's the link to the AMK item on their site.  I've seen 1/8" and up, listed as a pilot hole size for a #8 sheet metal screw. AMK uses their own part number, likely because these fasteners were used on multiple makes of automobiles.

Looks like the pilot hole increases with the thickness of the metal.
Do all #8-32 hex screws have the same diameter at the base of the threads? If not then that could explain the different pilot hole sizes in the AIM.
