Cowl Hood Accel Lever Finish
« on: July 19, 2023, 01:40:19 AM »
Looking for feedback on correct finish for the cowl hood accelerator lever and bolt.  After the grunge was removed it looked like it may have had some black paint on the lower part near the clamp bolt.

The arm had a lot of oil/dirt encrusting it when I pulled it off.  When that was removed it had a dull dark gray finish on it.  So there may be some of the original phosphate finish still there.
Thanks again for the info.

Glass bead with LOW pressure to preserve finish, Vapor blast would be best but difficult to source.
