Heater Blower Motor Testing?

Is there a way to bench test a blower motor for functionality by somehow applying 12 volts to it? Thanks.

Apply 12 volts to the connector & a ground to the mounting flange....Joe

Caution! I just tested mine last weekend over the fender of another car and it jumped out of my hand and chipped the paint, hold on tight, they have a lot of Tork!
