VIN Registry - Info on VIN?

Hello all - my father recently passed and I've found some old paperwork of his - some of which includes the VIN to his 67 Camaro that he bought in 11/1967.  The car is long gone from our family, but I was curious if it shows up in the registry.  I would be curious if it survived, and also thought the current owner might be interested in copies of this paperwork.  The VIN is 124377N 192 789 .

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I'd bet that if there was a current owner to your dads 67, that they would much rather have the original paperwork and you keep the copies. Not trying to be a smarta$$ or wiseguy.

Registration, yes - happy to give someone the original.  The loan document signed by my dad and cosigned by my grandfather is probably more likely to stay in the family - but having a copy of it could fill in some cool backstory for the current owner, if there is one.

Condolences for your loss. Your gesture and effort are generous and I hope someone out there has the car, finds this and is reunited with any documentation that you can provide. I'm sure they would be most appreciative, whether copies or original.
