Shelby Camaro?

Saw this on another website, can you guys confirm or deny this? Or is it just some guy who put Shelby emblems on it and got Carroll Shelby's signature and is now claiming its real.

Anyways, it appears to be a fake. So far no one can document it.

With the amount of counterfeiters today and the technologies at their hand anything can be pretty much be recreated very accurately including signatures. Besides, it probably doesn't have the ford fan sticker to prove authenticity.

Guys,
Remember, Shelby worked for Ford, Toyota, Chrysler, and Oldsmobile. So, no Ford fan sticker needed on this one. My question was simply is it real? Understandably, most Chevy guys don't approve of it...even IF it was a real Shelby Camaro....
However, it does appear its just a fake that some guy did a sticker, emblem and signature job for the auction.

A guy I worked with bought a new Shelby 500 in around 2010-11. He knew this was the best car ever built. Shelby was scheduled to come to AACA museum to be guest speaker. This guy bragged for two weeks that he was taking his glovebox lid  to get signed until I shut him up by telling him it would cost him $300. He was gullible and believed anything. As it happened Shelby had health issues and never showed up.

That is absolutely correct. He would sign autographs for a 'donation' for his Children's Heart Fund.

I thought Shelby American did have a package for gen 5 Camaro’s (May not be factory GM sponsored) however individuals could take there cars there to get modified.

That might be correct. However, that does not mean Shelby built it. Just as a Challenger or Viper went to Shelby American AFTER the car was made from Chrysler by the customer to get modded. This situation is like buying any new car, then the customer has new wheels and tires installed by America's Tire Pros. No factory involvement. Kinda like the old saying "Day two modifications".

The bullet points indicate photos were  signed and authenticated by Carrol Shelby  - very likely went to Shelby American for the reason that I can't see why not if his sig is on the dash. I can except this reason for the Shelby look and if receipts available also.
