Since I can't access the facebook link, the only information shown is the photo of a CE block....
IF the VIN shown (L394701MO) is the VIN of the car you're considering, then it appears that the original (MO) engine was damaged by the owner, and the block was replaced with the (pictured) CE8 55317 block by the servicing dealer who 'stamped onto the pad' the vehicle VIN.
(The location of the VIN stamping is NOT consistent with factory stampings, as it is in the location where the Flint engine factory stamped the engine stamp...)
As long as you're not paying a price for the 'born with engine', and you're happy with the engine performance and car otherwise, I wouldn't let the 'replacement CE engine bother me very much).
