Mecum 1969 Z28
« on: July 29, 2021, 08:43:00 PM »
Have a friend looking at this car in Orlando now. What's the opinion on the tag being legit? Especially with the 720 orange houndstooth? Right off the bat I see a style trim conflict.

I believe that it is real, however I would like better photos -
I want to know the Vin it would be one of the last few cars without D80 on the TT. - if the decklid is original it may or may not have double punchings for the Camaro emblem on the deck lid.

I'm afraid I couldn't do any better. It was very hard to get pics in that lighting. And if I added light, it was too shiny and you couldn't see the detail.

James, if I'd seen your question about the trunk lid before I went to the auction, I'd have checked it.
