Power steering pitman arm nut
« on: June 16, 2021, 08:15:35 PM »
Owning a late 1969 Camaro you relize several things don't fit into "normal".

Aquired a 227 pitman arm from another box today. The box I took the arm from is dated 121 9 & the socket size was 1-5/16

My box is dated 011839 & the socket size is 1-9/32

Anybody else run into this?

Thank you, Hoe

Mine (01C ‘69 RS auto) was 1-5/16”.  Found the 1-5/16” socket needed at a local pawn shop - this was back in 2004.  Although my box is a replacement, and I don’t know the date code, the nut came off of the original box.
