Doc, I haven't used those rivets however they are similar to the rivets sold by other Camaro parts vendors. If you are replacing / installing a set how do you plan to do it?

I did a bunch of searching here and on Team Camaro, did not find an obvious solution that worked on these rivets. References that the GM supplier pressed them cold, but people have attempted this with the rivets hot and may have had success.

AMK part number B-11693. Correct head, threaded and secured with a nut. I have many people that would press a correct rivet if requested. I suppose if one is dumping bags full of money into a car for judging purposes this very important. I'll be buying my friend's original rot free, 70 % original paint Cobra Jet four speed 1970 Torino for $16K. Nice driver and I will leave it out in the rain if I have to. Crazy how people spend over $100K or more to restore a car worth $50K.

I have been successful installing those type of rivets using an air hammer with a flat tipped bit and a metal body dolly underneath , it is a two man job and takes patience, but works great!

I've done many bumpers with the steel rivets. Install heating them up and driving with a flush rivet set and bucking bar.

Got any photos, I was looking a Chicks set up and the Impact bar needed a Notch since the bumper edge was Really close to the axis of the rivet.

I took the easy way out & used the AMK threaded fastener Scott referred to.
