Yeah not sure on the repop, but Chevy did make a service replacement of the Z/28 manifold. They made 2 versions, maybe 3. One with a fill tube, one with the fill tube area cast over but can be machined, and one there the fill tube area is completely gone. Only differences between the service replacement and production units was thinker flanges at the ports and a bowtie on the back runner on the replacement intake. I have 2 of the intakes and unless your really look and know how to spot, most assume is a real deal unit as it has the snowflake in the right spot.

The snowflake is the Winters Foundry marking, found on all the aluminum parts they cast which include many different Aluminum Chevrolet manifolds and even big block heads I believe.

I'm suspecting that the 3932472 casting number was NOT on the manifolds you referenced, camaroboy??

They make the 427 tripower intakes repop. Ones with part # are more expensive. I have not seen one in person but pictures look correct.

I was referring to intake 14044836, it doesn't show in many books as it was a over the counter unit. Never was used on production motors. It was cast at the Winters foundry so its a GM part and passes the quick eye test. Its like how people can mistake a L79 intake for a Z28 they look close but unless your really doing some serious judging where they are looking for that stuff.

GM, and the aftermarket, cast/sold many manifolds that were essentially 'copies' of the Z28 design, but had differences in appearances if you looked, and always had the manufacturer's mark and the PN...
